OUR SERVICES
AlfredHouse is, most
importantly, a home. Warm, bright and inviting, it affords all the
usual comforts of home. The rooms are tastefully furnished with
allowance for personalizing. The staff is trained and certified in
Medication Management, CPR, First Aid, and Aging & Sensitivity
Awareness to assist residents with day-to-day activities of toileting,
bathing, grooming, dressing and eating. We have over
eighteen
years of
experience with Dementia and Alzheimer's
care.
AlfredHouse provides the following personalized professional services
to the Resident, which are included in the
monthly fee:

Private or semi-private, furnished room. Furnishings include a bed
with a box spring, mattress, two pillows, and linen consisting of
flat and fitted sheets, blanket and pillow covers; a bedside night
stand with lamp; a chest of drawers; mirror and a chair.

AlfredHouse will also provide a locked storage space with the key
being in the resident's possession.

Residents may choose to bring their own furniture.

24-hour on-site supervision.
-
Three meals* prepared in the facility according to a menu plan
determined by a licensed dietician, along with two snacks (one after
lunch and the other after dinner).

Current menus are available for your inspection with the program
manager.

Special dietary needs as required by a physician or governed by
religious preferences will be met.

Personal assistance with all daily activities, such as toileting,
bathing, grooming, dressing, and eating.

Medication administration.
-
Specially designed program for Alzheimer's and other forms of memory
impairment.

RN supervision.
-
Individualized service plan.
-
Health Management: Monitor health status and coordinate services
(free of charge) per physicians' orders and the individualized
service plan.

Daily housekeeping and weekly laundry / linen service.
-
Care planning.
-
Schedule weekly trips to shopping malls, picnics and special
events/activities where families are encouraged to join in.

Common use telephone/cable TV.
-
Music therapy and activity programs five times a week by a licensed
recreation therapist.

Life celebration on residents' birthdays and other festive
occasions.
Additional services that we provide that are not included in the monthly fee:

In-house physician & podiatrist: These services can be arranged and
billed directly to Medicare or any other health insurance company as
required.

Pharmacy Service: Coordination with a pharmacy for delivery of
medication. Pharmacy will bill the insurance companies directly.

Beautician's visit.
